Hi, looking for good media blaster shop in the NJ area, looking to get the whole body stripped, any references would be helpful, thanks.

Back around 1979/80, I had all the body parts from my 57 Chevy media blasted at Rural Auto Body on Route 34 in Matawan. Not sure if they still do it.

Quick Strip in Carteret. (732) 885-1969 They did both my Chevelles and my Camaro. A little expensive but no more than any other outfit...

Bill, would you recommend them? How's their work?quality? I spoke to Quick Strip this week, seemed like a capable shop but still have not visited them.

Tom... They do nice work, but you have to make it clear what you want. They did the frame on my 68 and I had to go over it to clean up the areas they missed. Over all they do good work. You also have to expect to do a certain amount of clean-up when their finished. I think next time I do this I will strip the car myself. Nothing against their work but the media dust is everywhere when it's finished and it is a must to clean well to keep it out of the new paints..
