i am in the same boat, and actually i got a quote from a local rear-end shop, they will build me a new 12 bolt rear-end, with Billet Axles, all new bearing and seals, 3.55 gears and an Eaton posi. Installed and everything for $1850. is that about right?? the guy will guarantee his work, oh yeah, and he will also throw on a TA Performance girdle Cover.
is this a good deal?? cause i cant come up with any 12 bolt rear-ends over here, and if some come up, they want about $1000-$1300 used with different gears, which i would have to replace.

Thanks for the info, but i just got back from leaving a deposit on the other guy, he was definately about $100 cheaper, but this other guy is throwing a TA girdle and installing it also, so i think its about the same in price, maybe a couple bucks cheaper with Bill.
