I went to install my new power bucket seat track under my original bucket seat in my 67 Beaumont (same as Chevelle) and discovered that the track is a couple inches shorter than the original bucket tracks. Are power bucket floor mounts different from regular buckets?

Gonna move this to the Interior section where it should get more responses. :)

Yes, the power bucket floor mounts are differrent. The mount closest to the tunnel is approx 4" wide and the front stud is much further back. You see them on e-bay occasionally.

Thanks... I thought it would be an easier conversion. I'll keep a lookout for the mounts. Thanks!

I recall someone offering "repro" power seat mounts... Maybe OPGI?

I've done the conversion to my 67 by installing a 1969 Gran Prix power base. had to buy the rear outer mount from Year One and weld it in. I made a strap to reach the base from the rear inner mount on the floor.
