Has anyone tried to remove rain gutters? I think my 65 2 door sedan would look much better without them. They are not rusted, but I like the smooth look. Comments?

April 2003 Issue of Hot Rod has an article on a customized 40 Chevy where they used a sawzall to cut the rain gutters off and they came out very nice...might read the article and get some ideas.
