Townys64 Jan 15th, 07, 9:41 PM Im planning on running a set of 255/45/17 tires on the rear of my 64 Malibu with stock wheel wells. My wheel guy tells me I need an 4 3/4" backspace for this size tire to work. That would be on Coys 17 X 8" rims. Additionally, the front will be 245/45/17 with 4" backspace.
