Man, it finally seems to be coming together. All the jams,interior trim,dash and undersides of the hood and deck were bright red. They are saying the car will be shot next week. It has been a loooooong 4 months. I will send out pics as soon as I get it back as I will be hanging the hood,
deck lid, and fenders etc.

Heh, you're lucky. I've been waiting 17 months, no paint on my car yet:(

I've been waiting for new paint approx 10 years since I started my resto! This length of time due to other life matters. All in all I have spent many countless hours on a full frame-off resto. I said I would have paint on it 2 years ago, but it still has not happened. I plan on car being painted by the end of this month. Then there is still the sanding/buffing process, the interior, the vinyl top, the rims, etc.

Wish I could see some color on my car. Been in the body shop for 8 months now. Should be finished by early next month. The body work is mostly complete. All thats left is blocking and fitment of my new C/I hood then they can spray.

you are definatly not the only one, I am being held hostage as well. I sent my caar to the painter just before christmas and the car is only about 70% ready for paint. we expected 2-4 months because of the deal we were getting but its starting to be too long now. I told him I want it in my driveway by august 1. let see if it happens. He has been getting more done since I set a deadline.

I have been by the shop the last three days and they are really getting with it so I made a visit to the Upolsterey Shop and after a month he has not touched the seats and the window tinter has only three of the windows tinted. I think it is a
