any know the casting number for a 69 chevelle SS master cylinder with a disc/drum set up?i have found 2 set of numbers but both of the master cylinders look the same.the last there numbers are 309 and 346.is one or both correct for a 69 chevelle?

309 was for 1969.
Either will work.
The 309 was specifically a disc/drum master and the 346 was used for both disc/drum and disc/disc.

If you look at both cylinders from the top with the cap off, the 309 cast slants to the rear resivoir more, making the rear resivoir smaller than on the 346. The outer castings are slightly different aesthetically too, most noticably around the rear bleeder pad.

The 1969 Chevelle 5468309 cast should have a 'BA' letter stamp on the front as far as I know, and your correct date code if you want to go all out.
