Need some help here. My 66 Malibu was tragically driven onto someone's front porch by an ex-friend, soon-to-be-dead guy. He was taking it to his shop to weld a new trunk pan on it, but said the throttle cable got stuck (so he says)...leason learned.

Suffered some serious front end damage from the impact of the curb, frame is bent. I'd like to resurrect the car for sentimental reasons, but I need to do what's within reason and my budget. The motor and tranny are in good shape, so I've been looking for just a straight, bare-bones body to dump mine in, but that hasn't been easy. Are there companies that make chassis for Chevelles of that year, or what other frames are compatible if I changed out the front clip? I want to get her back on the road stronger than ever, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

(you can check for updates on my site: www.mrchevelle.com) (http://www.mrchevelle.com))

Thanks,
John

Just my opinion, but I think that I would ask at a frame shop to see if it could be straightened.

While you are in jail for the premature demise of your x friend, try a search using frames, frame, or wheelbase as a key word. Found some answers there. Good luck
