I have purchased the paint seal kit, but it does not contain a seal for the tail light assembly.

There is a channel on the outside edge of the assembly that is for a rubber seal. This seal fits between the assembly and the body. I have checked a number of suppliers and searched this site, but I have found nothing.

It is not the flat gasket that comes in the kit. I am sure this is an extruded piece.

Does anyone know where I can get this seal?

You can get them from anybody that sells the Soffseal brand weatherstripping. They are part #5189. They call them 'tail-light bezel seals. Try OPG, Year One, Ausley's, ect. You will have to trim the v-notches in them where they make the sharp bends in the channel that they fit into, so hang onto your old ones to transfer the measurements over to the new ones. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif
