The El Camino I have is really nice looking but in my opinion it needs a new paint job to "jump" to that next level...Right now its original color is white with black interior. I would like to know approximately how much it cost to put a "nicer" finish on it. And, are there like different types of "finishes" you can paint a car or are they like all the same except for maybe more "expensive" paints? I'd like mine to stay the original white but I want it to shine better than it does now. Thanks for your help. JL

With no bodywork and to remove all chrome your looking in the neighborhood of $3000,for a respectable paint job.The cheaper paints tend to lose their gloss over time.I can paint a complete car in about 2 hours, all the time is spent in the prep work and it's the most important.
