I need to remove overspray off a car that I had in storage for awhile. I have it out and I had overspray on it from 2-3 years back. 84 Camaro of my wifes (16000) miles red in color has some BC/CC white overspray n the passenger door, any ideas how to get it off without buffing???
Thanks Randy graemlins/clonk.gif

You might try a clay bar.

A method that I use is to spray some Gumout carb cleaner on a rag or paper towel and just wipe it out in a circular motion. It doesn't touch the original paint but cleanly and easily removes at least recent overspray. I am not a body man so maybe there are dangers to this that I have no experience with. It does do the trick and there appears to be no removal of the original paint of which, in my cases, is usually 30 years old!
