I just bought a 85 Buick. Now that it's raining I discovered it has a small leak at the top of the windsheild. There's just a couple of drop's of water on the glass, but the headliner is wet about 2'x1'' across the front.

The glass has a couple of small chip's in it right in the driver's veiw so I'm going to replace it as soon as I get some extra money. But that may be awhile. Can I just pull the trim and use some kind of sealer as a temp fix. Will I be able to get the trim back on doing it this way. Thank's, Cal

Yes, use the non-hardening type of sealer (3M 3905?).

Are you sure it's not the sheet metal?

The car is in really good shape, so I don't THINK there's any rust since there's none anywhere else on the car. But I guess I won't know for sure until I pull the trim. Thank's for the help. Cal
