I will be restoring a LS6 car, Can you still buy a NOS LS6 camshaft from GM, or do you have to buy an aftermarket grind?

The cam is still available, the kit with lifters is P/N 12364057. Depending on your dealer, it'll be about $125.00

There are exact duplicates available from the aftermarket too. I got mine from Speed Pro. Wolverine also makes one (the one Year One sells). von

Lunati has a version of this cam also, the # to check on for the price is #20202 Factory Replacement series.Call them at 1-901-365-0950. I've always had good luck with their products!

The lift specs on the LS7 cam are much nicer though!Saw it in the GM Performance Parts catalog. FWIW.
