Can anybody tell me the amp ratings on a blower motor switch for a '70 Chevelle with factory air? I'm wanting to use the switch to run something else on my car. Thanks

I'm just guessing and hopefully someone will help confirm, but i wouldn't run any high current through it. If my memory serves me, the blower "high" position is directed through the fan relay due to higher current draw, which the switch wouldn't be able to handle. Just a thought, could you use the relay for whatever you want to power?

Yup. Power is routed to the blower thru the "High Blower Relay". Its the relay that handles the high blower speed current not the switch.

I was thinking about running my fuel pump through the switch. Not sure what the amp draw is on a Holley blue pump. Thanks for the input.

Wouldn't do it, too much load on the switch. Add a relay and it will work fine.

you'll need a relay for a holley blue with any switch (just about)
