Hello all. I was hoping someone could recomend a red paint that I could spray a 70 Ragtop that I am restoring. I liked the orginal red, on some cars I have seen, but I don't know what the paint code was for the SS red in 70. On TC's paint code index it shows Med Red Metallic as the color. Is that the correct color? Any suggestions / help would be appreciated.. Pictures would even be better so I can see the color!

My 72 chevelle is painted 1993 camaro bright red it is a real nice red it is slightly brighter than cranberry red but when the sun is shining on it they look nearly identical. I don't know the paint code but if you were to call your local chevy dealer I'm sure that they can find out for you.

Thanks everyone.. I like the original paint code (75), but I also like the viper red. It appears to be deeper... I am not restoring this car to original, so I suppose I can use a bit of owner descretion when making my choice. I really appreciate the help!
