: 1350 u-joint??

what is the most heavy duty u-joint you can buy for a 12 bolt?? also does it take a differant differential yoke?? i have a turbo 400 trans and 12 bolt rear. what set-up do i need. i am running 11:40s on motor and i want to start spraying it with a 200 shot. (468 bbc) 4:11 gears,posi. 69 chevelle.

You're not going to break a 1350. Don't get me wrong S happens. But at under 1000hp they pretty much bulletproof. Check out Mark Williams Enterprises - They do some nice pieces.

Yes the 12 bolt yoke is a 1310. You will need to buy a yoke for a 1350 joint. I have 1350 joints in my car.

The 12 bolt came from the factory with 1310 and 1330 yokes. The 1350 yokes are after market. You won't break one of these. You will have to change the yoke to use the 1350 joint. You need to have a new drive shaft built with 1350s in both ends and replace the transmission yoke too. Otherwise it would be a waste of time to just put one on the rear end.
