to the people that have put these on their chevelles. did you have any problems with the install? were you happy with the results? did you know before you started your install that you would have to cut the ends of your axle off?

do a search and you will find lots of info. some on both sides of the fence. they are easier to do than a ford bearing end, but tend to not last as long and can leak oil more. i would tell you to get the ford bearing ends or buy a rear that has them done. i know someone that does them.. tom

I have installed the Ford type bearings on several 12 bolt rear ends and they are great. It takes a housing fixture to get everything lined up correctly, but it is worth the effort. They are much stronger and don't leak. You also have to get the correct axles to go with them.

i had already bought them. i got a kit from strange. i got one side on today, and will get the other side on tomorrow. if i have any problems with these i will go to the ford ends. i was just wanting to know from other chevelle owners who had the c-clip elimanators on their cars , what they thought and how they liked them..
