Can someone with a 67 Chevelle SS give me the exact location of the mirrors on the 67 doors, mine only had the drivers side but wasn't in the right place. Now the car is painted and i'm putting one on each door. This is a 67 SS 396 4 speed Conv that i found in a garage and completely restored it. Thanks for any help Dirks SS

Dirk,
I just checked my 67 assembly manual. Page 41 shows the drivers side mirror and the various components, but gives no measurements. It only shows "existing holes" for the screws. Mike is right, get a copy of the "1967 Chevelle & El Camino Assembly Manual". It's put out by Millenium Industries and available through many parts catalogs and ebay. It's full of exploded views, measurements, discriptions, etc. My copy has bailed me out many times with both body and engine questions. It is probably the best book you can have for restoration.
If you can't find the measurements anywhere, I will be glad to take my mirrors off and make a template for you.
