Where to I start. I have one more floor pan to install then I can start working on the rest of car. Should I go Ahead and get the interior painted before I go to the outside since the inside will be black and the outside another color. Also should I paint outside and then put the doors, fenders, hood etc. on after paint. Just want the best results first time around.
Thanks for any info

Tho I've never done what you are doing, I would say work from the inside out. This way if you go outside in, you wont have to remove anything from the outside to finish up the inside if that makes sense.

Since there is not much to paint on the inside of the car I did the outside first. Months of welding, bondo, blocking, priming and wet snading make such a mess of the whole car that I didn't want to have to protect any finished paint any where. Painted the outside then sprayed the tops of the doors and the top of the dash. I protected the outside finish when I did this but I would have gotten all the overspray off anyway when I color sanded the outside. This was done to a totaly stripped shell of the frame.
I don't think anybody does a restroration in the same order.........it's mostly what you can do, how much money you have, shop space, and your knowledge of the car.
Jump in and good luck
Roger
