I have been searching for vinyl top trim for a 1968 Chevelle. My car has the holes for the trim but I don't have any of the trim. Mid Canada Classic Auto has an 8 piece set for about $285.Has anyone here purchased this set? Are 8 pieces the entire set that I need? The roof of my car is very pitted from moisture under the old vinyl top. I can't decide if I should spend the money to restore the vinyl top or spend a lot of time working to hide the pits and change it to a hard top.

I had a similar problem. I have decided to opt for a new top. So coated the bare roof steel with POR15 to prevent future issues.
I would check local yards for trim. Have you tried Sundell located in Slippery Rock PA? Their contact info is on the Goodmark site under authorized dealers.
