Hello, I just removed my gas tank today to prep the body for blasting and discovered that it is nonvented with a non vented cap. I've never noticed any issues with gas spilling, vapor lock, etc. I plan on replacing the tank as part of the restoration but not sure if I should order a vented or non-vented tank. Anyone have any suggestions. 70 chevelle w/454. Thanks for your input.

I've always used (and have suggested and told to) non-vented with ny car with the filler facing the rear of the car. Especially if it's behind the license plate. The tanks have a vent on them so i see no problem.
