Rain water is leaking into my passenger side floorboard. I have isolated it by running a hose slowly into the cowl vent. Water drains from the bottom of the fender but also runs right in through the air ducting at the passenger side kick panel. How do I seal the cowl?

Remove kick panel. It is bedded in caulk around vent. The likely causes are: debris in lower cowl restricts drainage, rust holes in lower inner cowl, caulking around vent opening brittle/cracked, vent gasket failure. The MOST likely cause is debris--pin hole rust.
