I am currently restoring a 70 SS Chevelle and getting ready to purchase a front clip. I am wondering if a 4 door chevelle front end will fit on a 2 door shell? I have heard certain models like the Wagon and El Camino front ends will not fit on the 2 door shell.

Not sure about the wagon, but I can tell you for sure that the El Camino fenders are not the same. They do not have the body line the coupe does. The front bumper is also different. From what I understand, a 4-door fender and hood will fit fine.

The wagon and elky share the same fender. They WILL NOT work and a coupe.

The clip from the 4 door will bolt right on your 2 door car, as they are the SAME parts!!!
