FEEDBACK ON "STA-Lube 80w-90 GL4" IN MY MUNCIE M20.
Just to recap the drain plug was leaking in my muncie and i had to drain the Redline MT-90 out of it to reseal the drain plug so i decided to try the conventional Sta lube 80w-90 GL-4 lube to see how it would perform in my M20 muncie.
I just filled my M20 with STA-Lube 80w-90 GL4 today and went for 1 more cruise before winter hits (if it ever gets here) to see how the Sta lube does.(It was 69.5 deg today here in NY state, avg for Jan is 25-30 deg)
The trans shifted normal and felt the same shifiting with the sta Lube as when i had the Redline MT-90 in it. The only very suttle difference i could tell was the trans seemd to run a little quieter with the STA lube vs MT-90 but the trans was never what i would call uncommonly noisey to begin with.
Has anyone else tried the Sta lube yet?
If yes how did your trans act, shift, and how was the noise level?
Scott
