alright guys, im going to get this bumper mounted yet. im new to the resto thing and even newer to chevelles. i finally got rear bumper brackets and when i went to mount them realized somebody has done some shotty sheetmetal work. there is patch metal and no bumper bracket bolt holes. if i order a trunk pan kit will it come with what i need? if not what can i order or will i have to fab myself? thanks again guys. once this chevelle is done i will donate it to this board, as you guys will probably do everything but the actual wrenching. just kidding, its all mine.

isn't the frame the mounting point for the bracket? the trunk pan is just sheetmetal for the bottom of the trunk.

no its not the frame, it has threaded bolt holes under the body. i have to replace the trunk pans anyways so i guess i will get a better view of it all once it is out.

Thats a threaded plate on top of the sheet metal just holes in the pan and it should mount to the frame to.
