ok i have a question for u guys i have been trying to find a way to decode my 68 chevelle trim/cowl tag but all im finding is other car and different years . so if any of u could help that would be awesome.

yea i went there and couldn't find all the decoding numbers i wanted so here is the trim tag numbers if u could help

791=Med green rapture cloth/Med green imitation leather (vinyl) bench seat
B=unknown
V=Sequoia Green paint
2=Black vinyl top
You have a Sequoia Green, black vinyl top, medium green bench cloth/vinyl interior, V-8 Malibu 2-door Sport Coupe built in Baltimore, MD, the 1st week in June, 1968. Well, that's what it originally was. :thumbsup:

114995 188203 are internal plant processing numbers that ID this body in the plant computer processing system.
68 13637=1968 Malibu Sport Coupe-8 cylAll coupe tags were 13637 regardless of engine, only the VIN will determine if the base engine was a 6 or V8
