Pulled all my interior and looking for suggestions on the best way to clean up the floor pans before I weld up some pinholes and POR it.

Two car garage, minimal dirt on the pans but still have glue from the paper and such. I was thinking of renting an industrial strength pressure washer and pushing her out into the dirveway and shooting the hell out of it (rip off the paint and all) but dont know if that is a suggested approach or to messy or even un-necessary. Was planning on going after it with a 3M abbrasive drill attachment after that then etch and paint.

I dont have a big shop or a trailer so its gotta be done in house. Just looking for tips on approach before I make a big mess (not physical mess, I know thats a given) TIA.

I'd use MEK on the glue. Just make sure you wear gloves and have proper ventilation.

I'm doing the same thing, only I'm welding up CRATERS. Take a shope vac and suck it out really well. Get some aircraft stripper for the paint. ANd use some good glue remover. Will be nice and shiney...AND....You'll be higher than a kite!

I used a few cans of brake cleaner then wiped it all clean. I got out the simple green and a scrub brush and a bunch of rags. Cleaned up very well I did use a resperator the entire time but I am sure it smelled nice.
