Wanting options on air operated rivet guns. Looking for something that will set 1/4 steel rivets.
Two weeks ago I bought on from Harbor Frieght graemlins/sad.gif and already broke the F-ing thing. I knew I shouldnt have but I needed one right now.

With this Harbor wonder when I needed to set a 1/8 rivet then a 1/4, I had to swap out the nose piece, jaws and plunger. But on my old hand riveter all I had to do is swap out the nose piece. The jaws and plunger would set 3/32 up 1/4 rivets, I only needed to change the nose piece.
Is there any air riveters that I can just swap out the nose piece or am stuck swapping all three pieces?

I was looking a Huck 175K which is an air/hydraulic gun, anyone know about this gun?

Dont know about air rivet guns, I use the Marson 'Big Daddy' manual gun. Never let me down.

Thats what I got now but working at a Ford dealership were if they can get it on with rivets they sure will. :rolleyes:
The time I did get on that Harbor riveter was godsend.

A friend of mine had a HUCK that broke right away. But, the same guy broke my Harbor one after borrowing it. Go figure? At least Harbor replaced mine free. That's my only knowledge. JOHN

I have a Morson model # Mor 39017 HD air/hydro
and if your using 1/4 or 3/16 shank rivits. works like a DREAM.. Expensive..think in 96 it was around $350.00 I was doing alott of Truck body repairs/modifacations ( Handicap elv.ramp/door ect) so it paid for it's self in both TIME and ENERGY spent... yanking on the 1oo's of STEEL 1/4 shank rivets a job...

Anyone else??
