: Best intake gaskets?

I just replaced my intake gaskets thinking I may have had a slight runner leak. I have RPM aluminum oval heads and an Airgap intake. I was using a set of regular Victor gaskets ( MS15188X). I suspected that the rubbers at the front and rear were keeping the runners from sealing properly. I went back with Mr Gasket (107) runners and silicone on the crossovers at the front and rear. Never had this problem, but now its seeping oil at the front of the block. I know this is an elementary issue, but just wondering which gaskets would really be best. Heads are stock out of the box. Don't believe now that I ever had a vacumn leak on the runners in the first place. Should I just go back with the stock gaskets again? Thanks.

I think you need a better bead of silicone on the rail pia but I'v had to r&r also but I will not trust the gasket on the rails only silicone.
