Who sells the best quality repro. mirrors for the outside on a 70 chevelle ? Iv'e got a 70 with a 71 sport mirror. Doesn't look right to me. Wanting a good repro. Have heard some are better than others. Thanks Steve

In my opinion the Import mirrors look the most correct. However the problem is that after some use the mirror will move when you close your door.

I ordered a set of USA made mirrors from OPG and promptly sent them back as the edges of the glass had tiny chips all around and there were some casting flaws in the metal under the chrome.

I orderd another set from Luttys out of PA. Very nice chrome and glass no casting flaws. The company that made these mirrors is out of buisness so once they sell out there gone. The only problem (?) is that the casting leaves the "Bullet" tip slightly out of round and there is a backbone ridge up the back of the base. This ridge is very pronounced I don't think this ridge should be there. Maybe we can get some folks to post some close up pics of their original mirrors so we can see what would be acceptable. Luttys has both left and right as of 1 -1/2 months ago. 69 and 70 use the same mirrors.
