I'm looking at a 95 LT1 Camaro in pretty decent shape and am thinking about parting it into my Chevelle project. The Chevelle is a frame-up resto that I'm doing in the pro-touring style. Right now the Chevelle is without any parts and so everything that might fit out of the Camaro would probably go into it. My questions are:
1. Very first off, is it even worth doing? Will an LT1/6 speed be a good match for the heavier Chevelle?
2. If I'm using the Hotchkis Upper and Lower A-Arms that are meant to use the F-body spindles, is this the correct spindles?
3. Will the front and rear brakes fit if I use the F-body spindles?
4. Will the engine/tranny combo fit without too much modification?
5. Can I use any other parts such as power steering box and pump, radiator, power window motors, windshield wiper motor, etc. work on the Chevelle?
6. Would anybody else do this?

Your looking at a lot of work to get that engine and trans into the 70.
You will have to cut out the trans tunnel and build a new one.
New rear cross member.
The drive pullies will have to be changed, they will hit the steering and the frame.
These are just a few of the issues I've observed at Chevelle Specialties in Phoenix. They have a customer they are doing a "nightmare conversion" for.
