Are 64-67 chevelle rear seats the same???? I know the cover design is different,but for recovering purposes. Wil a 65 seat fit right in a 67???? THANX

I have a 65 4 dr. seat in my 64 2 dr. right now and also at one time I put a 67 2 dr. rear seat in and it fit also. Difference is the way the frame of the seat is curved on the bottom. One goes in towards the trunk, the other away from the trunk. You should have a metal hook approx. 1/2 to 1 in. wide that is bendable to hold the frame to the pan. Mine was bendable enough to fit either the 64, 65 and 67 rear seat, but I don't care much for bending it around a lot for fear it might snap off. Hope this helps. 64elkynss
