Has anyone had home delivery of a package from DHL?
I ordered something over the net and when I went to track the package..
a DHL screen came up. It showed the package being delivered to the local DHL hub and then given to the postal service for delivery :confused:

Doesnt DHL deliver to homes? seems like an awful convolted system to me..

I know that UPS is doing a lot of that now. Seems they want to get out of the home delivery and deliver only to businesses. But DHL? I've had several DHL deliveries to my home lately, no problem.

DHL, UPS, Fed-Ex...... they're all using the USPS now, not uncommon..... I figure that if DHL, UPS & Fed-Ex are too inconvienced to deliver to my house, and they can outsource to the USPS and still make money, I'm paying too much for DHL, UPS or Fed-Ex shipping, I ship only USPS now and save money

Even though you werent given a choice of the shipper. Ask Keith Anderson at the next club meeting what he thinks about DHL in reference to a set of date coded, L78 heads that were shipped to him through them.:sad:

I have not heard any 'good' stories about DHL...I know their system of hadling and tracking pkgs leaves a lot to be desired. I have had one delivery to my home from them, it was a phone thur Verizon, I guess they have a contract with them. So, they do deliver to homes. I have to admit, I see them going into our local post office all the time, I wondered what that was about. When I was working for Fedex, most post offices wouldnt even talk to us, give us any directions or anything. Now, the PO is taking pkgs from other carriers?? That's a switch!!
