Just purchased a 72 malibu 2 door a few weeks ago. No engine, trans, or front seats. I look forward to discovering what this car originally came with and restoring it. I am not new to the gm A body though. I have had a 69 pontiac lemans custom S since I was 16 years old so I've had it 11 years now. Well I look forward to posting in the forums when I need help. Thanks!

Hello and welcome. The 5th digit in the VIN will tell you the engine. Good luck with the resto.

ya emmissons equipment don't last long around here. We don't have any emmisson tests or inspections around here.
We keep getting ice storms so I haven't had time to work on the car yet.
