Tomb7us Jan 2nd, 07, 9:42 PM Middletown ohio thats practically next door to me. You should check out our club if your around the ohio area. www.chevelles.net/tristate and say hi!
greenchevy Jan 2nd, 07, 10:12 PM It has cost me an additional $600 to have it shipped from Ohio to Connecticut. So far I have spent another $150 for a battery, battery tray, oil, filter and valve cover gaskets. Its probably going to need a starter. Each fender has small rust holes and each quarter has 3"-4" holes on the very bottom. The frame, trunk, floors, rockers are rust free. It looks like this car was undercoated at the dealership. I only wish they had hit the inside lower quarters and behind each lower fender, but the car needs paint and very minor body work all the way around anyway. I plan to keep it mostly original with the exception of headers, dual stainless exhaust, heavy duty swaybars front and rear, and aluminum ansen or Indy style slotted rims. I also might convert to power brakes and disk up front but I am not sure.:D
greenchevy Jan 2nd, 07, 10:39 PM One other thing this car needs a carpet. There is one spot in the drivers seat about 4" where the carpet is worn through to the metal as if it were from the drivers foot? Could such a thing happen in 71,000 miles.
oldtimebaseballfan Jan 2nd, 07, 10:54 PM Hello and welcome. Makes you wonder about the carpet.
