I am in the process of rebuilding a 1970 chevelle. I have always liked the front fascia of the 70 model but I like the bumper of the 71-72 model. Will a 71 model bumper fit on the 70? I know the light configuration is different but is the overall bumper shape different?

It will bolt on the car, but it wont fit the rest of the nose.
In order to make it work, you would have to put a 71 or 72 nose on the car.
That bumpwr is made to work with the single headlamps on the 71-72, and also the 70 parking lights are in the bumper, the 71-72 are in the fender extensions next to the headlamps.

I'm sorry I was thinking front bumper.
yes the rear bumper will work you just have to change the tail lamp harness and the lower valance panel.
