Someone once told me that 'xx Monte Carlo plastic inner wheel-wells will fit my '72 Chevelle. I can't remember the year of the Monte Carlo. It was a later year than '72. Anybody know?

I'm looking for plastic to reduce weight. The battery side rusted out so bad the battery almost fell through, so I moved the battery to the trunk.

1970-1972 will work. I hope these are originals you're planning on using because the aftermarket plastics are total CR@P. I'd use aftermarket steel pieces if the aftermarket is your only source.

Monte's are built on Chevelle station wagon and 4 door frames, the inners will not fit. Repo inners are pretty nice, and for a new part that's only $99 from most suppliers, including me, why not get new steel ones?
