My frame is home from the powder coaters and I'm very pleased with results. graemlins/hurray.gif They did a great job getting into the boxed sections as far as possible. Here it is after sand blasting:

Powdercoating a frame is really the way to go. I did that on my GTO and it was the best thing I have ever done. I had some brake fluid drip on the frame and it was totally uneffected. Its super durable and looks great. It cost me about 650 bucks to get the frame sand blasted and powder coated.

did you do any modifications to the frame before hand (clean up any welds or add any gussets)?

Aaron - Blasting/powder coating frame, cross member and 4 control arms $600.00
Charles - I had to repair the front 2 body bushing locations because of rust. I used 1.5" washers and my friend butt welded them in. You can barely tell. www.chevelles.com/showroom/temprepair.jpg (http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/temprepair.jpg)

The bolts that hold the line clips went right in. The powder coating is not that thick. The bolts did scrape off some the coating on the threads in the frame. I'm not too concerned as this is a very small surface.
