I,m a newbe here, just stopping to say hello! As you can see I am a Mopar guy but like all brands of muscle cars. Heck, I even have a 36 Cord sitting in my garage. I really got off track on that one but they are really cool old cars.
Anyways, I could use some help on a car I am looking at and figure this site would lead me in the right dirrection.
I am going to look at a 68 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed convertible on Sunday and need some advise. Where can I get information on how to identify what should be on this car and what parts, like engine,trans, etc are correct. The car is supposed to be all original, but I need to know what numbers to look at and where to find them.
