HI,'m from bowling green, kentucky the home of the vettes. My girlfriend is wanting a 71-72 chevelle pretty bad. I'm in the process of finding a project car. I really would like to do a LS1 and 4l60e or 4l80e tranny conversion in the car. I'm willing to use my car as a donor, but i was wondering about the technical aspects of doing a project like this. Headers, motor mounts, tranny crossmember, etc. If any of you have any suggestions or comments or how tos, it would be greatly appreciated.

www.t56kit.com has all for your ls1 conversions. also do search here alot of guys are doing them. there is www.ls1tech.com also area to look hybirds. your a brave guy to use your car for her disposal!!!! maybe once my chevelle is done or least driveable let's say i'll get my girl that 70 c-10 she wants so bad.
