My street finally got plowed yesterday, and we are in for another round of snow with anywhere from 10 to 20 more inches predicted. My El Camino will never see daylight again. :pout:

New project for the house -- finish and heat the garage!

I've tried to tell everyone, we are getting snow because of the global warming.:D:sad: When it snows here in April, I know whats causing it.:noway: A heated garage is best thing ever.

Well, we're staying home tonight. Way too much fun out there with the IDIOTS on the road.

Here's some pics of our neck of the woods in Monument, CO;

The Chevelle warming up for doughnuts - yep, I got a whole culdesac for that!

I posted this in another thread, but I'll drop it here as well.

Digging out from last week's snow in Aurora, CO:

Note the trash can -- finally got picked up last night, a full week late with Christmas in the middle. Makes you appreciate the services that we all take for granted.

Digging some more today, tomorrow, ... my back is killing me!

Dave,
I can't believe you are taking your car out in the snow to do donuts! What will the rest of RMCC think?

Back problems? You need a HUGE snow thrower. That's the only way I survive any longer. My driveway is waaaayyyy too long to do by hand. I've done it, and it wasn't pretty.

As for the doughnuts, it's a DRIVER, BABY!!! Come on down, we'll do snow drags!

Any suggestions for snow blowers?

I posted this in the other thread, it pretty much sums up the last few weeks, IMHO..

Buzz, mine is a Troy-Bilt Storm - 5.5 HP Tecumseh, 24" clearing, 2 Stage snow thrower - Storm 5024 is the model.

Electric start as well, although I've always pull-started it. Starts on the first pull everytime, and chucks mid-sized children and animals if you're not careful.

I got it at Lowes in late April when they were shipping them back to their main warehouse. They apparently don't keep them around all year in the back. I got it for almost $200 off the retail. For $399, I'm very happy with it.

Kurt - funny guy! Remind me to send this your way...

Kurt-
You an me both. We've been having nice campfires out back, and since it's barely cold, we still have the hose hooked to the house to put it out. We COULD use snow to do it, but I just can't fathom driving 600 miles for snow. I still am able to work in my garage in Dickie pants and a thin jacket too. Only fired up the heater twice so far-back in November.
I say let THEM have winter this year. I just want a little snow for the kids to play in. For me, I'm heading to the sun soon.
