I just traded a dirtbike for a 1972 Chevelle SS with no motor or trans. The interior and body are very clean for a car that has sat for 5 years (covered in a barn thank god). This is my first hotrod so I am very excited to get it running and driving. I will be bugging you guys with a ton of questions but I will be sure to search first LOL.
Anyways I live outside of Stockton so any local guys hit me up. I am looking for a motor for this car so if any of you know of any good deals let me know.
Thanks,
Jon

Hello and welcome Jon. It's good to see another SS get a home with an enthusiast. Ask plenty of questions and share some pics.

Where "outside of Stockton"?
We have guys on here from Tracy, Lodi, Turlock, Modesto, etc (I am from Elk Grove)... We try to get together several times a year for BS'n, BBQs, racing, wrenching (and more BS)...
