Hey another new guy checking in. I'll try and make this quick. My name is Neil, I am a firefighter/paramedic down here in sunny (hot) south Florida. I'm 21 years old and right now have three cars in my possession.
It all started when I was 15 and bought an '84 el camino from a pawn shop (seriously) and spent some time building a new too powerful drive train for the car which in the long run got stolen and stripped from my high school
Then I got my Buick Grand National that I have done some mods too, I'll just say she doesnt do too bad for a six cylinder...
A couple months ago I got a '87 El Camino for $500 that I thought would be a neat restoration project and make a hot rod out of. But it used to be a pool truck hauling around chlorine which rotted everything (bed, floors, quarters FRAME, everything) so I am parting her out.
And most recently I bought a '70 SS454 from a guy's brother at work. The car sat in storage for nine years. Before it was in put instorage he had all the body work done on the car, fresh paint and a fresh motor put in the car. When I bought the car it came in boxes and a smile from the previous owner that said 'Some assembly required' So, this is the main reason why I am here. I need help getting her back together.
