since i bought the car, whenever I would put my 68 malibu on my lift in work, the front bumpers would sag down. This caused the tips to rip the paint behind it to shreds. So I adjusted it. Now they sag but don't hit the body. Question is, is this normal?? Or could it be something else. AS I writing this, I wonder if its caused by the shredded body mounts I am going to be replacing.

hmm ive heard people having problems with doors hitting fenders when the car was lifted so some flexing is normal..i never heard anything about the bumpers hitting but id have to say the worn bushings are not helping either......
