I have removed my old somewhat cracked steering and have purchased epoxy, primer and black semi gloss paint and sand psper. I have sanded the entire wheel w/ 80 grit and need to know what is the next step to get a nice finished product. Thanks

You can look at the literature that POR-15 has on their steering wheel repair kit. The epoxy is the main thing. www.por15.com/faqs/faqputty.html (http://www.por15.com/faqs/faqputty.html)

But I think a dremel or some kind of tool to create a "V" shape in each crack, then epoxy, (if you use the 2 part epoxy from POR-15 you can smooth it out with water = minimal sanding). Then I assume, final sand, and prep to paint.

Hope that helps.
