Im about to spray my engine compartment. I have a detailer spray gun to do it with. What kind of paint should I use? I bought some semi-gloss wood/metal rustoleum to put in sprayer but not sure if this type paint will hold up.
I used Eastwood's Underhood black. Looks like factory and holds up well. I took it all down to bare steel and used epoxy primer first.

I have a bunch of POR-15 but doesnt it really need rust or corrosion to make it adhere correctly? I did my other cars engine compartment with it but the whole compartment was full of surface rust and corrosion.

Check my underhood color post for a good paint for engine compartments.
