Hey all, this is Sgt Miranda joining from Camp Bucca Iraq. Checked out the site for awhile without joining (waited to join until I finally purchsed my Chevelle). Well after a year and a half I finally found one,let me tell you buying a car that is located in Nor Cal while you are in Iraq is no easy task! Anyways I'm the proud owner of a 70 that I plan to put a 502 in,SS interior, and just basically return to new. Now if I could only see it in person! Look forward to picking your brains for ideas!

Welcome aboard Sarge  Lots of good info in the performance forum about BBCs should help immensely. Hope you had good "boots on the ground" to acquire your ride. Congrats and good luck. Be safe

Hey Sgt. I just got med boarded a couple months ago and found out I can get a waiver to come back in. Hopefully, I'll be able to give you hand over there soon. Welcome to a great site. Good luck with the build, and make sure you don't have a knucklehead in the turret to spot IED's. My unit ran over a few because people weren't paying attention. Keep your head down, see ya' when you get home.

Hey Sarge,
When you fly home to see your Chevelle, if you fly out of Kuwait on World Airways, stop in the cockpit and say hey. I may fly you home and would love to chat with you on your journey home. Be safe and thanks for your service!:hurray:

Cheers:beers:

PS: Watch out for those damn Camel Spiders! (and no that's not a derrogatory remark...those are some BIG UGLY MEAN SPIDERS!!!!)

Hey Sarge. Welcome, from FOB Brassfield-Mora, Iraq! Congrats on your latest acquisition. The folks on Chevelletech are class acts, with an overabundance of information. Keep your head down, be safe.

Hey SGT Miranda. Welcome to the site. Do you have a relative that's an E8 working in ROTC? I worked with a MSG Miranda this summer.
