hello,

now i need help with my kickdown cable,

i put a new coil and cap and cables and ignition module on my car and now its been starting at real high rpms when on little gas and running real hard, and then when its warm, its hard to get her to settle down, the choke sticking? but this is my problem...

its been doing fine for 2 days with these new parts now somethings wrong!!

i went down the road out of my driveway after starting my car a few times in my driveway, the day before it ran just fine, drove and shifted fine too

saturday i leave the driveway and it wont leave first unless i make it by racking up the rpms and slipping it in neutral, waiting then putting it in D,

my car wont shift on its own, MY TH350 transmission has had new fluid and lines to the new radiator and new filter in it for 3 or 4 months and shifted fine the whole time,

I THINK! that i when stomping on the gas pedal to get it to kick down upon warmup ive damaged my kickdown linkage...

SHOULD I? buy a new kickdown cable?

Look very carefully at the vacuum line that routes from the intake manifold to the vacuum modulater at the right rear of your transmission. Sounds like it may have gotten loose.

yeah i had been looking at hoses and checking for leaks, this one i had seen before and didnt realize it could cause such a problem.. i put a new hose between the intake manifold and the vacum tube that goes under the firewall to the modulator on the transmission, i didnt have to look at that end much at all before i knew where the leak was coming from... like i said i saw the crack in the old hose but iddnt know it was that bad...

THANKS A BUNCH:boring: SLEEPIN EASY TONIGHT:D :beers:  :) :boring:
