408maro Dec 24th, 06, 8:13 PM Hey guys whats up my name is john and this is my first post. first off i guess ill say a lil bit about me im 20 yrs old and aint no newcomer to the chevy life. i have had about 5 camaros since the age of 16 all purchased on my own. i currently have a 2002 camaro z28 which i made into a ss clone.and just recently got a 1969 chevelle malibu which is not in bad shape.it has a 350/350 and has very minimal rust and runs strong.it was sitting for a few yaers in a garage so i was lucky and got a nice car. i hope to learn a lil more about these beautiful muscle cars on this forum and hope to be able to ask questions and get some great answers to help me on resto project in which i hope to make this chevelle into a 69 ss clone.thanks guys
furball8994 Dec 24th, 06, 8:25 PM Welcome to the family John. You have found the greatest Chevelle site on the web. Congrats on the 69. You'll find great people on here that are willing to help in any way they can. I've even seen members offer to drive (sometimes an hr or more) to give another member a hand. Soon you will be finding your self helping others, answering there questions or just offering a new perspective on an idea.
P.S. take a little time to fill out your sig. with your name so when you talk to others, they know who there talking to.

Smittie Dec 24th, 06, 9:32 PM Congratulations!!! As you can see by my signature I am a 69 guy myself. You are going to love this forum and you will be able to answer all your questions here. I wish I had a passion for classic muscle when I was 20, instead I just did my part in destroying them along with my peer group (late 70's). We did have fun drag racing though. Gotta love those California cars :D
