Does anyone know if there is a 350 turbo block off plate for the kick down linkage? I dont need the kickdown cable as the car will primarialy used at the track.

Don't know if this is correct answer, couldn't you just unhook linkage from carb..then it is still there if you change your mind later?

Yes I could, but then the cable itself is still there.

Well you have a handy bolt hole right next to the cable housing hole.

Why not take a piece of neoprene and cut it to just over the size of the hole but to include the bolt hole area and then make the same shaped piece out of 1/8" steel? Something in the shape of a very small pear.

Using the neoprene as a gasket bolt the assembly in place of the cable housing.

Neoprene because rubber doesn't mix well with ATF.

I cut the end of a cable off and filled the hole up with rtv never have had a problem doing that

sanddperformance - how did you not have RTV mix with the tranny fluid or get into the internals of the transmission?

Go to parts store buy a cheap replacement, remove cable from housing at the trans, pean over the metal housing. Cablebe gone!
